This Christmas season, journey back in time and walk the streets of Bethlehem at our Step into Bethlehem - A Living Nativity— an immersive, family-friendly experience featuring live actors, animals, and interactive village life.

Upon arrival, guests will check in at the Bethlehem Village Gate for the census. There, you'll receive some Marketplace money to pay your taxes.  You will also be given a schedule of the evening events.

What Awaits You in the Village?

• Live performances by shepherds, an angel, Joseph & Mary, wise men and more. 
• Shepherd’s Stall – Visit with live sheep, goats, and other friendly animals.
• Tailor Stall – Try on the latest Bethlehem fashions. Robes – sizes toddler through adult XL  - are available for dress-up during your visit to the portrait studio.
• Portrait Studio – Capture the moment in your Bethlehem attire with a keepsake photo. Bring your camera.
• Oils & Spices Stall – Smell frankincense and myrrh and discover how they were used in ancient times.
• Bakery – Sample traditional Middle Eastern bread.
• The Warming Well – Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or hot apple cider.
• Dreidel Game – Play this classic game and learn its meaning.
• Craft Stall – Kids can create their own Christmas ornament to take home.

Admission is free, but registration for a time slot (5 or 6:30pm) is required to ensure we do not exceed occupancy limits and can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
